ART ACTIVITY: Gene Shirley will be in charge of the children making a mural depicting "Flanders Fields", (landscape with field of poppies) reminiscent of the story from World War I about the poppies that grew on a field after
Attire: CAC T-shirt and jeans.
NOVEMBER 3rd: The Veteran's Parade uptown. At its conclusion, there will be a presentation of the mounted project along with publicity and photos taken.
Attire: CAC colored shirt and Khaki's.
Information will be coming home with your child and a form.

K5-5th Grade: As we learn the appropriate skills the students will begin to render their Waterfowl and paint on canvas.Art Studio students need to have Reference Information-including their major sources.

Students will research pictures of their selected Waterfowl and create an original artwork.
The first of January Entry Forms will be sent home to be filled out and signed by parents/guardians.
All work pertaining to the creation of your child's original artwork will be done in Art Class. Students are to bring in pictures of Waterfowl that they have taken themselves or found on the internet, in magazines, etc.
